hello!

welcome to my internet home

Hi, I’m Taylor! I am a Mexican-American actor, singer, and clown based in NYC. You may have seen me recently performing original clown and character work at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective, UCB, or The Idiot Hour.

I’ve loved performing since I was a toddler (seriously, I had to be dragged off stage at my first ballet recital for blowing too many kisses). As an actress, I gravitate toward new work and creating quirky but sincere characters from scratch.

I grew up on the border of the U.S. and Mexico in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and studied musical theater at Oklahoma City University. After college, I became Miss New Mexico and used my platform to expand access to arts education across the state. I fundraised money for public school band and orchestra classes to provide them with instruments and organized concerts, galleries and performance opportunities for art students around New Mexico.

Now, I split my time between auditioning, working in Audience Engagement at Ars Nova Theater, teaching elementary school theater, volunteering as a session leader with Sing For Your Seniors, and running my small business DoReyMi Designs, where I sell handmade and embroidered fiber art. I’m also a 500-hour registered yoga teacher, actively teaching classes and leading teacher trainings focused on creating spaces that feel safe enough for people to move, breathe, and play - because life is a lot, and sometimes we just need a breath.
